During this two-day workshop, you will have the opportunity to focus on the art of alignment and develop a deeper, safer yoga practice with Acharya Ratheesh Mani. Correct preparation and alignment for your individual body condition will create a sense of ease in your mind and your asana, and keep you free from injury. To attain this sense of ease, you will learn pranayama and meditation techniques chosen specifically to enhance your alignment. You will learn to use the breath precisely and in a way that helps you come into and out of poses with ease and precision.

Ratheesh will challenge you to safely and confidently go beyond where you think you can in body and mind. He will support you with simple, safe adjustments that you will be able to embody and integrate into your own alignment and practice.

Through your physical practice of yoga, you will sculpt a strong and healthy body, and improve the strength and mobility of your skeletal and muscular systems. Understanding alignment is essential to this process, and in turn, a strong and consistent practice strengthens your internal, intuitive intelligence and relaxes your nervous system.

By the end of this workshop, you will have a more thorough understanding of alignment and a deeper experience of the inner layers of your body and subjective mind.
