Journey for progress
“Journey for Progress” prepares your body for more challenging postures.
Using an intelligent way of practicing and an understanding your own body, “Journey for Progress” will guide you step-by-step into a particular pose. Each step will help you gain strength and confidence as you move toward the full expression of the pose. We will work on the component parts of the posture during five classes. The focus wil be on those areas of the body that need to strengthen and lengthen, as well as on understanding which body parts are most at risk for injury, and how we safely reach the full posture.
If you are a beginner to the posture you might want to practice the first four steps until you feel comfortable before you go further and try the full posture. Remember that there are no goals in practicing yoga – only a beautiful journey. Let go of the outcome and enjoy the process!
