Welcome to lake Hjorten and my yearly summer retreat. It is such a privilege to share this beautiful place with you and I hope this retreat will be bring you rest, a restart, new friends and internal peace. During this week we will dig deeper into the practice of yoga, philosophical teachers and texts and look at different tools that can help you see yourself more clearly and how to live a more balanced life in peace.
Food: It says that the tongue is one of the hardest sense to control. We serve 3 vegan meals that will help you still your senses, create a strong vibrant body and clear mind.
Accommodation: Simple living in a shared house with the rest of the participants or ability to bring your own tend and lay in nature. See accommodation options and costs below.

Free time to enjoy the silence of the nature, take a swim in the beautiful lake, walk in the woods, or take the boat out for a peaceful trip on the lake.

Alternative 1 includes
Full yoga retreat (6 days), food and simple accommodation in a shared house with the rest of the group.
Price: 670 euro, (early bird price 620 euro if paid in full by February 25). You have reserved a spot when the tuition is paid.
If you bring a tent and want to sleep in nature, you will receive a discount of 60 euro on the total amount.
Alternative 2 includes
6 days of yoga classes and breakfast. Choose this alternative if you want to stay by yourself or if you live close to Västervik.
Price: 500 euro
Payment can be made through Swish 070-0050718 for Swedish residents or on the website for international students.
Water: Due to climate change we are experiencing a drought, especially during summer time. Therefore, all the showering/bathing will be done in the lake.
Karma yoga: Each day you will take a small part in the ancient tradition of karma yoga/selfless service by sharing chores like assisting in the kitchen, cleaning the shala and shared spaces, tending to the garden, etc.
The retreat will be held 10 minutes outside Västervik, Sweden
You are welcome to arrive after 11.00 on June 5th, if you are traveling from abroad please let us know and we can arrange for you to come on the 4th. On the 5th we serve a light lunch and the classes starts in the afternoon and ends on Sunday after lunch, July 10.
