Celebrate Hope and Love!
Yoga Master Class with Caroline and Ratheesh
International Yoga Day 21 June 2017
June 21 is a very special day for us. Our third boy, Neelan, was born on that date, and then Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India declared 21 June as International Yoga Day.
We have been blessed that yoga has been part of both our lives from a young age. From very early on, each of us was able to follow the path of Yoga.
But what does Yoga mean?
When asked that question, people quickly respond “union” but what does “union” mean?
In short, we can say that Yoga is to understand that the essence of every living being is the same; that everyone of us carry the same essence, and by sharing the same essence, we are all united.
This means that another person’s joy is your joy, another person’s suffering is your suffering, and we all feel the joy and suffering of another.
On 21 June 2017, we want to celebrate our son’s birth and International Yoga Day by offering a special master class.
This class will help you see the essence of light within you, and also to connect with others and give a helping hand to children in need.
This special class is based on donations and supports the work of the organization Love and Hope (formerly LoveNepal).
Love and Hope is a Swedish organization that works to end child sex slavery in India, Bangladesh, Nepal and Sri Lanka. It offers a new chance at life for the rescued children by providing basic needs for them such as food and clothing, safe homes, professional and medical help and schooling.
Perhaps most importantly, Love and Hope engages people who show the children that there are people in the world who love them and want them to have safety, security, love and joy.
Yoga has never been about “me” or “I”. Yoga is—and has always been—about the welfare of the entire world. Together, We Make a Difference.
Join us as we celebrate our son, all the children of the world, and the power of yoga’s ability to unite us all.
